Location
The Royal Sands is located at the heart of the Cancun Hotel Zone next to Kukulcan Plaza-Luxury Avenue Mall and within walking distance of La Isla Shopping Village. The nearest golf course is five minutes and the Punta Cancun nightclub district is 10 minutes from the resort respectively and it is a 20-minute drive to the airport.
Villas at The Royal Sands
Spacious, comfortable and tastefully furnished, the two-bedroom, two-bathroom villas at The Royal Sands sleep up to six people. They have a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering and an expansive living and dining area.
The private terrace offers unfettered views of the Caribbean and is perfect for relaxing, sunbathing and dining al fresco.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a master bathroom and an independent door to the terrace. The lock off guest bedroom has a smaller balcony.
The innovative design of The Royal Sands villa gives you the option to occupy the whole villa for up to six people, the one-bedroom suite (master bedroom and bathroom, living area and kitchen) for up to four people, or the second bedroom for two. The separate entrances and double locking doors assure privacy for all occupants of the villa.

Hacienda Sisal
Traditional Mexican cuisine, seafood, steaks and fajitas in a magnificent setting that evokes the haciendas or estate houses of old Mexico.
For those who like their dining with a dash of live entertainment, Hacienda Sisal stages Mexican and Caribbean Dinner Shows during the week. Featuring a buffet, traditional music and dancing from different parts of Mexico or the Caribbean islands, they are very popular so be sure to make your reservation upon arrival at the resort. Mariachis, Mexico's famous strolling musicians, also serenade diners.
Located next to The Royal Sands®, Hacienda Sisal is open daily for dinner from 5a.m.-11p.m.

The Royal Sands Activities Program
Most of our activities are complimentary. Others have a small charge only to cover the cost of materials.
The Royal Marina is located right across the street from The Royal Sands. We offer complimentary sailing lessons as well as free use of the sunfish sailboats (one hour per day per villa). You can reserve sailboats at the Sports Desk. On Fridays at 11:30 a.m. join us for our exciting regatta.
Diving is very popular among our members and guests. Solo Buceo, located at the Sports Desk offers scuba diving trips, PADI lessons and certification. Scuba diving demos are offered free of charge from Sunday to Thursday at 12:00 p.m..
For those of you who do not know how to swim, we offer Beginners Swimming Classes for adults. Sign up at the sports desk a day in advance to set the place and time for the class. It's never too late to learn.
We also offer a full program for children. The different activities are organized by our staff members, however children must always be supervised by parents.
The Royal Channel is on the air 24 hours a day. Watch yourself enjoying your vacations at the Royal Resorts. You can view the programming on channels 5 and 17 of your T.V.
Our library is located at the Activities Center. In order to maintain a supply of books, we ask that when taking a book you leave one to replace it.
The tennis staff offers:
- Private lessons for $35 US per hour
- Clinics 8-9 a.m. and 5-6 p.m. Monday to Friday. The cost is $15.00 US per person.
- Match play with the pro for $35 USD per hour. You pick the time which is most convenient for you.
If you beat the pro, the match is free.
